| June is definitely harvest time-as new freshmen students eagerly entered UPLB as well as our high school campuses. To welcome the college freshman we had a mini-concert entitled “Thursday Funk” held last June 23, 2005 at 5th floor Vega center from 5:30-8:00pm. The youth center was jam-packed with around 750 students 70% of which are all freshmen students.
The program was filled with songs, raffles and games. At the middle of the program a word was shared regarding “Purpose” and an altar call was made. After this event, most of the students who invited the freshmen ate dinner with them to continually establish relationships. It was indeed a very exciting time.
Last July 4, 2005 the Discover Your Purpose (DYP) discussion was launched as a tool to keep on reaching more freshmen. It was held at 5th floor Vega Center, 6:00-7:00pm. During the 1st session around 250 students attended the event. We are going to do this activity for the next 5 weeks! The result of this would be the start of at least 50 new “cell groups” or what we now call Outreach groups inside the University.
Jesus said in the great commission “Go therefore & make disciples of all nations.” We firmly believe that as we continue to make an impact in this generation’s youth in the campus we are going to Change the Campus & in effect we are going to Change the World! | | |

Our Outreach Group in San Pablo City. We meet every Saturdays 6pm @ McDonalds
Thank you very much for giving time to read my first entry. I thought that you would be interested to hear what we are doing in our ministry to reach the youth of the Philippines. My name is Arthur Reyes Añonuevo, a Campus Staff of Every Nation Ministires. Presently, I am assigned in the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB).
Every Nation Ministries (ENM) is training a new generation of Christian leaders for every sector of the society who are highly competent, full of character, deeply founded in biblical Christian truths, and contributing significantly to national development towards the realization of a Christian nation.
ENM is located in the University Park educational sector in Fort Bonifacio Global City. It is adjacent to the International School, British School, and Japanese School. It is across the development of the new Ayala commercial center and is one minute away from S&R Price Club.
Presently I have been meeting with other Christian leaders and professionals sharing to them the exciting work we are doing in the campus.
